Resin Bonded Filter Cartridges (RBC)

Resin Bonded Filter Cartridges are depth-type filter elements manufactured by intrinsically bonding specially formulated fibers with a thermosetting resin like melamine formalin resin or phenolic resin. This process creates a rigid, strong, and chemically resistant filter structure capable of removing sediment and particulate contaminants from liquids, piped air etc.
Resin Bonded Filter Cartridges function through depth filtration. As liquid passes through the thick porous structure, suspended particles are trapped within the media layers. Larger particles are captured near the outer surface, while finer particles are retained deeper inside the cartridge, ensuring efficient filtration. This structure also significantly enhances dirt holding capacity and ensures longer service life compared to conventional filters. These cartridges offer excellent mechanical strength and are capable of operating under demanding process conditions such as high pressure, high temperature, and aggressive chemical environments.
Resin Bonded Filter Cartridges are widely used in applications requiring consistent particle removal and reliable filtration performance. Their resistance to harsh operating conditions make them ideal.

These RBCs are specifically designed for Hydraulic oil fine filtration where achieving low NAS class value is the aim.

These RBCs are designed for other industrial applications like Transformer / Gear / Lube Oil Filtration, Resin Filtration etc.

These RBCs are certified food grade and are also Bio - Compatible as per Oral Injectability Test. Thus they are completely safe to be used in contact with food or applications involving potable drinking water, beverages, pharmaceutical applications, distilleries, IMFL filtration, cosmetics, syrups etc. These filters do not impart taste, odour or colour to the filtrate and also comply with Overall Global Migration Test as per IS 9845 thereby ensuring no migration of filter particles into filtrate.
