PTFE Filter Cartridges are designed for high purity filtration applications requiring exceptional chemical resistance and reliable filtration performance. The filtration media is made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a highly inert material known for its outstanding resistance to aggressive chemicals, solvents, and high temperatures.
These cartridges are typically hydrophobic in nature, (if required hydrophilic can also be made) making them ideal for gas filtration and sterile air filtration applications. PTFE membranes provide excellent particle and microbial retention while maintaining high flow rates and low pressure drop. Their ability to withstand repeated sterilization cycles using steam or chemical agents makes them particularly suitable for critical filtration processes.
